Who is this “Cheapa Diva”?  Well, let me start by saying I’m not really what                                                 you might consider a “Diva”.  In fact, I’m a pretty average girl.  And I’m a girl                                                 who does not like to spend money.  I can hear the collective gasps from all you                                                 girls out there and the sighs from all you guys.

I admit I don’t exactly fall under that generalization that all women love to shop.  But that doesn’t mean I don’t like stuff.  I love stuff!  I just don’t like to pay for stuff.  I’d much rather get my stuff for free, or at least cheaper than cheap.

Let me further clarify that I’m not one of those girls who has special abilities                                                 to talk people into just giving her what she wants.  Nor am I one of those girls                                                 who can bat their eyes at a guy and have him buy stuff for her.

No, I’m what you might call a bargain hunter, a frugalista,  a coupon queen.
While some of you readers might relate, or some might be thinking- “hey, I buy stuff on sale too”, let me     assure you that I am not the average bargain hunter.

I do not look at a 50% off sale as a good deal.  I like 90% off better.  Now, granted, I cannot get  everything in life for free or even 90% off, but you can bet I almost never pay full price for anything!

I hate full price!  Full price is the bane of my existence, a thorn in my side.  Why would anyone want to pay full price for anything?  Especially when you can almost always get a discount with very little effort.  And with a little more effort, you can even get stuff for free or super close to it.

So what kind of stuff have I gotten for free?  Groceries, toiletries (shampoo, toilet paper, girl products, toothpaste…), beauty supplies, dog/cat food, clothing, shoes, gas, fast food, eating out (sit-down restaurants), movie tickets, DVD rentals, books, school supplies, a computer, gift certificates, toys, photo prints, printer ink and much more.

Want to know my secrets?  I am writing them down and making them available now to anyone who wants to save money and get stuff for free!  Click any of the links below to find out more info on how to save more money in any of these areas.  (Check back for more info on saving in other areas-coming soon!)
